What to Expect During AHIP
AHIP includes Medicare training and Fraud, Waste and Abuse training, followed by the certification exam required by many Medicare Advantage and Part D carriers.

Upload Your AHIP Certificate
After completing AHIP, upload a copy of your certificate so Advantage Plus has it available for contracting, compliance, onboarding, carrier certification, and agent support purposes.
- Download your Plan Year 2027 certificate from AHIP.
- Confirm your name and NPN are listed correctly.
- Save a copy of the certificate for your records.
- Upload the completed certificate to Advantage Plus.
How to Transmit AHIP to Your Carriers
Completing AHIP does not automatically make an agent ready to sell every carrier. Agents may still need to transmit their AHIP completion and finish each carrier’s product training, attestations, and certification requirements.
Log In to Your AHIP Account
Return to the AHIP Medicare Training portal using the same account used to complete your certification.
Locate Your Completed Certification
Open your completed Plan Year 2027 Medicare and Fraud, Waste and Abuse certification.
Download Your Certificate
Download and securely save a copy of the certificate for your records and Advantage Plus submission.
Select the Transmission Option
Look for the option to transmit, share, or send your AHIP completion to a carrier or organization.
Choose Your Carriers
Select each carrier you plan to certify with for Plan Year 2027 and authorize the transmission.
Complete Carrier-Specific Training
Log in to each carrier portal and complete all required product, compliance, market, and certification modules.
Verify Ready-to-Sell Status
Do not market or enroll members until the carrier confirms your certified or ready-to-sell status for the applicable products and markets.
