Advantage Plus Insurance Agency provides qualified agents with Errors & Omissions coverage at no cost, helping agents meet carrier requirements while reducing business expenses.
What Agents Need to Know
Your current Advantage Plus E&O coverage is set to expire on August 1, 2026. Agents who rely on agency-provided E&O must request a new certificate and upload the updated document to each active carrier before the expiration date.
New E&O certificates will not be issued until July 15, 2026. Once available, eligible agents should complete the request form below as soon as possible to allow enough time for review, processing, and carrier upload.
Request Early
New E&O certificates begin issuing on July 15, 2026. Submit your request early once available so your coverage update can be reviewed in time.
Upload to Carriers
Once received, agents are responsible for uploading the updated E&O certificate to their active carriers when required.
Avoid Disruption
Missing or expired E&O coverage may delay carrier access, contracting updates, certifications, or sales activity.
What Is E&O Coverage?
Errors & Omissions insurance, often called E&O, is professional liability coverage for licensed insurance agents. It is designed to help protect agents if a client claims there was a professional mistake, missing information, incorrect guidance, administrative error, or another issue related to services provided.
In the Medicare and insurance industry, E&O coverage is commonly required by insurance carriers before an agent can be appointed, contracted, or permitted to actively sell their products.
Agents Must Meet the Requirements Below
Free E&O coverage is available only to active Advantage Plus agents who meet our minimum eligibility requirements. These requirements help ensure coverage is provided to agents who are actively contracted, using our platform, and working through Advantage Plus Insurance Agency.
Active Portal Access
Agent must have active access to the Advantage Plus agent portal and be properly set up in our system.
Minimum 3 Active Carriers
Agent must have at least 3 active carrier contracts under Advantage Plus Insurance Agency.
Good Standing
Agent must remain in good standing with Advantage Plus, carrier requirements, licensing, and compliance standards.
Why This Matters
E&O coverage is an important part of carrier contracting and agent compliance. If your current E&O expires and your carriers do not have updated proof of coverage, it may create delays or issues with your active carrier appointments.
Eligible agents should request the new E&O certificate once available and upload it to their active carriers as soon as possible. This helps keep your contracting records current and reduces the risk of interruption.
